Valle de Las Leñas is situated on the North-South point of the Cordillera de Los Andes middle zone, inside the department of Malargüe, in Mendozas province.


AT THE MOUNTAIN

Snow Factory

Las Leñas has a modern snowmaking machinery, so nothing should stop you from skiing. The artificial snow that it produces can cover all the base of Neptuno, Venus I, Eros I and Eros II, The Base, Minerva, the Connection Eros-Minerva, Connection Vesta-Minerva, the low area of Caris and Vulcano from tower 8 up to the main tower.

There is a total area of around 7,500 mt (24,606 ft) to make snow with 30 snow guns, 5 of which are aerial.
