• 1. This policy covers the rescue and evacuation of injured skiers as well as medical care at Valle Las Leñas S.A. Medical Center.
• 2. In case of highly complex injuries requiring the person to be transported to another city, this insurance will cover ambulance transportation costs to Malargüe and San Rafael cities only.
• 3. It is expressly stated that this insurance will only cover accidents occurred in authorized pistes.
• 4. If the accident occurs off-piste or in unauthorized pistes, rescue and evacuation costs will be at the skier‘s expense.
• 5. The following situations are expressly excluded from this insurance:
  • Diseases not related to skiing practices.
  • Injuries occurred as a consequence of the skier‘s own negligence such as:
    • 1. Use of inappropriate ski boots.
    • 2. Use of inappropriate glasses.
    • 3. Sun burnt caused by excessive sun exposure or by the non use of appropriate sun block lotions.
    • 4. Use of equipment not suit for skiing.
    • 5. Use of equipment not properly adjusted.
